2023 Fall Open Houses

We know that visiting colleges is one of the best parts of the search process and we invite you to visit Sweet Briar for one of our fall open house events!

Our Fall Open House will be held on the following Saturdays:

Saturday, November 11

Our open houses are a great chance for you to get a sense of what it's like to be a student at Sweet Briar College. For scheduling purposes, the event typically goes from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. that Saturday with an optional dinner the night before (Friday) for those guests who are staying over or are local to the area.

During the event, you'll socialize with current students and hear about their experiences, meet faculty and administration, tour the Harriet Howell Rogers Riding Center, and eat in the dining hall (it's delicious!). There'll be plenty of time for you to ask all the important questions to help you decide if Sweet Briar is right for you. We think you'll love Sweet Briar as much as we do!

**Important note: If this is your first time visiting Sweet Briar and you are a junior or senior in high school, we'd love to pay for your visit through our Fly-In Program! Please find details and guidelines for Fly-In here. 
 

Legacy Students                                             

Did your mother, grandmother, aunt, sister or cousin attend Sweet Briar College? Then you are a Sweet Briar Legacy! Let us know that you’re a legacy student to receive an invitation to a special event just for you. 

Sweet Briar College offers a Fly-In Program. Complete the registration form and check with us to see if you qualify!
