2021 Fall Open Houses

We know that visiting colleges is one of the best parts of the search process and we invite you to visit Sweet Briar for one of our fall open house events!

Our Fall Open House will be held on the following Saturday:

November 6, 2021


Our open houses are a great chance for you to get a sense of what it's like to be a student at Sweet Briar College.

During the event, you'll socialize with current students and hear about their experiences, meet faculty and administration, tour the Harriet Howell Rogers Riding Center, and eat in the dining hall (it's delicious!). There'll be plenty of time for you to ask all the important questions to help you decide if Sweet Briar is right for you. We think you'll love Sweet Briar as much as we do!

PLEASE NOTE:

We can no longer make flight reservations for the November open house as our travel agent needs a minimum of two weeks advance notice to book flights. Thank you for understanding. 

The Florence Elston Inn on campus is fully booked for the night of 5 November. There are a few rooms left for the night of 6 November. If you require overnight accommodations for the night of 5 November, we ask that you make your own reservations at a local hotel.

Legacy Students                                             

Did your mother, grandmother, aunt, sister or cousin attend Sweet Briar College? Then you are a Sweet Briar Legacy! Let us know that you’re a legacy student to receive an invitation to a special event just for you. 

Sweet Briar College offers a travel reimbursement program. Complete the registration form and check with us to see if you qualify!
