Virginia Private College Week

Curious about Sweet Briar? You can tour our stunning campus during Virginia Private College Week, which is an annual event hosted by the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV) and participating institutions.

The event will take place from Monday, July 15 through Saturday, July 20, 2024. Sessions will be held at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day and a morning session on Saturday, July 20 at 9 a.m. All sessions will start at the Admissions House on campus. 

Any visitor during Virginia Private College Week is entered to win 1 of 2 Sweet Briar care packages! This is in addition to being entered into the CICV gift card raffle. 

Please schedule your visit using the calendar below. All high school and transfer students are welcome to attend.
 
Sweet Briar College offers a travel reimbursement program. Complete the registration form and check with us to see if you qualify!

*The Sweet Briar Book Shop will be open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Book Shop will be closed on Saturday, but please visit shopsweet.sbc.edu for online shopping.
